whadya guys think about these tails
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tegory=33 716
i can't decide whether i like em or not... i thought they might look cool on my black car... the thing that threw me is it says 96-00 when parts are normally seperated into 96-98 and 99-00... does this not apply for taillights? |

Sorry man, I dont like it. It does look kind of fake. It looks like all they did was use a glass spray paint, IMO.

I'm glad that you guys like the look of my tinted tails on my civic. I had them done in Santa Cruz, CA. by a shop called Volks Cafe. I don't remember how much they charged me(i had it done a couple of years ago). Although I think it is just some spray on tint from an auto parts place. I would think that they also had to skuff the surface first.

I looked at the smoked tail light covers also, but I did not like the fact that they were stuck on with double sided tape, and did not look flush with the body. Good luck with your mods.

I didn't like the first ones at all it looked like someone took electrical tape to that half. I'm not too much of a fan of tinted lights. I use to work in a parts store, and that's like the first and only mod all the dad's got (Including mine )

Yours is way better...... For those of you who wants to try it yourself, www.homemadeturbo.com has a procedure under their archives with pics. The computer that I'm on right now will not let me open their site, otherwise I would post the direct link. The project is done on a CRX but it really doesnt matter. U just have have the right materials. |

here's a link to do your own "smoked" tails and like I said, it's on a CRX. But all you really need is the materials used:
