Geez...this will be long.
Car = $6,000 (hey...it had 36,000 original miles)
First motor (junkyard rebuilder to 347) = $700 w/ a good amount of work done by me
Second (and current) motor = $3,000 with some work by me and anything sourced out to shops was done for a good price
Suspension = Wow...including the brakes I'll say $4,000 - $5,000
Transmission = $2,500
Wheels/tires first set was $1,100, second was about $1,500
SDS Digital fuel injection = $1,200
Throw-together turbo kit with new T-76 and Spearco 3 core = around $3,500 after any labor I didn't do myself
Pro-Spyder intake = $750
Rear end = $2,000 from Currie
Misc. other stuff = probably around $1,000
Yes, this was over many years. Also. many of the parts were bought used or from people/companies I have good professional relationships with (read: at a sizeable discount...especially that second motor). Hey...I can think of more expensive ways to get a car that turns and burns while putting down 650+hp
