Autodynamic.com (long)
Well about 3 weeks ago I ordered my black headlights from Autodynamic.com ( http://209.87.151.155/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=HC99HBC ).
About a day or so after I ordered them I still hadn't recieved any shipment notice. So I e-mailed them. Never got a response. Then I called them and they said they had been shipped. I was like "ok no big deal". It took the normal week to get them in. I anxiously opened the package to view my new toy. At first glance they looked great. Then I noticed that both headlights had an area that was bubbled up. It looked like someone had melted part of the assembly. Well I was a bit discouraged, but I figure no big deal they'll swap them for me. Begin the nightmare.... I immediately e-mailed them about the issue. No response. I called them. Spoke to a guy who said I needed to ship them back so they can look them over. Ok no problem. Well that was before he told me I had to pay shipping. Well shippiing is $40 to CA FedEx ground. He then said they would reimburse me should they prove to be defective. So I got my RMA# and went to ship them. Well about 7 days passed (5 business days) and no word from them. Finally I got an e-mail that Monday. Quote:
Apparently not English majors. Well by Wednesday I hadn't heard anything from them so I called. Of course their "RMA Guy" wasn't in. So I left a message and they said he'd call me back. Guess what? No call. So I call Thursday. Once again "Mr. RMA Guy" isn't there. So I reluctantly leave another message. After 3 hours he still didn't call. So I call back. Well they have no record of ever sending me the e-mail stating that they received my RMA'd item. So the guy checked with whoever to see if they received it. Nope. So I'm thinking "Great Fedex just lost my damn package". So I hang up with "Mr. Helpful". I was a bit pissed so I decided to give up for the day. Well I called today. Guess what? "Mr. Helpful" has mysteriously found my package. Hmm. That's odd. Anyhow they are going to refund my money including the original shipping but not my shipping I paid to send them back. He said that all of the lights have that "slight" marking. There's nothing slight about it. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Grrrr. Anyhow I jsut needed to vent some of my frustrations. ps- Yeah I know hybrid, I shoulda ordered them from Asylumms.... |
That blows ... I hate companies like that...
I'm still waiting on my forth 18" rim from wheelmax a month after i paid for em |

this is a big long story ... but to make it short after calling EVERY DAY for the past month ... UPS has denied the claim, thier going to send me a new wheel anyway, becuase "they believe i'm a valuable customer and they wanna do what is right" which means, the Owner Jeff and the ONly gurl that works on claims/returns/trackin are tired of hearing from me. Two days ago, I called at 1:00 pm the gurls line was busy, so i left a msg to have her call me. Call 1:30 lv 2nd msg . she goes to lunch at 2, at 2:30 her lines is busy again, leave third message. at 3:15 i call some guy answers the phone and tells me shes in the meeting. I lost it ... i started screamin so loud telling this guy to get her Arse outa that F'in meetin ... he hang up on me after a while. I called back .. he name is Leo.. after 15 mins of me telling Leo to go knock on the dang door of the meetin, and him refusing, I tell him to get a huge billboard and cover her whole desk and tell her If i don't get a call in 30 mins I'm sending both sets of rims back postage due, demanding all my money and calling the BBB . Exactly 30 mins later, while i was reaching for the phone , she called and said she was shipping me a new wheel Yesterday. I told her to leave the trackin number on my answering machine... its not thier |

yeah cox imports was great over the phone today, but i'll see. the only other store that i trust is summitracing and for rims sears. they can get their hands on everything i need

Wow, that's horrible service. In the past I have had very good luck with them. In fact, that's where I got my intake from.
