Turbo D16 Dyno Results!
I was at the SpeedQuest Dyno Days and decided to dyno my car since I just got a custom 2.5" downpipe, 3" hi flo cat, and 3" thermal catback exhaust.
Setup: D16Y8 GReddy 19T Turbo Kit JRC 5" Intercooler 2.5" DP --> 3" Cat --> 3" Thermal 8PSI Last Years Numbers: 177.75HP and 164.58TQ This year's best: 185.37HP and 174.27TQ ![]() The Green lines on the dyno chart is my results with the stock GReddy downpipe and GReddy EVO exhaust... the Red and Blue lines is with my new exhaust setup. Midrange power jump alot!! 20ft-lbs of torque at 4500~ rpm, oh yeah! |
awesome!! good job, been to the track yet?
|
nice number for a D. keep it up.
|
nice A/F ratio. That bitch is wicked smooth
|
How much boost did you run this time? Where do you have the VTEC set at?
Good numbers man! |
AZ: yeah i went to the track @ 8psi but with the stock dp and greddy evo, also my clutch did not want to cooperate (glazed it) so i only managed to run a 15.0 at 96MPH.. My 60' was a 2.5 since i just rolled off the line
Thermal: I ran it at 8psi again. this was just a comparison of the exhaust setup. about the vtec i'm not really sure because i don't know if the e-manage changed it or not.. |
nice numbers man...gota love turbo :)

oh yes, i love the darkside! right now i'm buildin' up my drivetrain with stage 3 clutch and fidanza flywheel and LSD, maybe even stage 2 axles...and for sure down the road purchase me some konig ultra-lite kolors with some m/t slicks... at least this way i can take advantage and fully use my 185HP/174TQ  |
Sweet numbers man.
|
yeah, the turbo d is very capable! thanks for all the positive comments!
i'm gettin' her tuned at 12:1 again maybe at 10psi, if i'm feelin' brave.... it was @ 12:1 but leaned out to 13:1 with the new exhaust setup |
