Problems with my system need some serious help fast

Ok well here we go... i just got 2 12's Pioneers with one 760 wat 4 channel amp Pioneer and a 2 channel 300 watt Pioneer and a strike cap bass capacitor. Ok well they was working fine until 2 days ago the left sub which is hooked up to the 300 watt amp starts to not work and then work for a second then not work. it only works when i have my system at like 20 but if i go more than 28 it starts doin it. Well i toook it back to the audio shop i got everything and they resoided it and tryed it again.. well it worked for like 5min and then it started again..

so i toook it back and told then that must not been the problem. so then they think one of my channels on the 300 watt is blown, so they hook up a brand new one up and got it goin and then after 2 min the hole for the fuse starts smokin. i eman it look like the amp was on fire they was soo much smoke and we shut it down and we fried that amp. the outside of the amp ws soo warm u could frie hambugers on it LOL. so we changed the amp and put my old one back on and they wre thinking i needed a another 760 watt to power that second sub. well we put the old one on and hoooked it up and it worked for a little and then it started again. so now i go down monday to to put in new 4 gauge wire in and if that dont work ill be gettin a new sub. but bad thing my car show for my school is tuesday wont be there in time but ya thats nice problem. anyone know wat else it might be? i am clueless

ok we found the problem.. the dials on the 300 watt amp were turned up too high and was making the bass drop out and we tuned them down and now the sub works fine...

i agree. DUMBASS INSTALLERS!!!!!!!!!!!! what you can do to fix it is take it to a real shop and let them look at it. just cuz it still makes sounds doesn't mean it isn't messed up.

For me anytime something weird happens and sound goes in and out it was always the ground wire.

For heat problems, I friend of mine made a wood frame around his amp and installed a few computer fans (u know the little ones) to dissipate the heat.
