Ouch. I smacked a squirrel once on my snow tires. Felt terrible about it in the first place, then parked and found little bits of squirrel in the treads...

I ran over one a Possum once. They are bigger and make more of a thump when you run em over. I tried to avoid it but there was nowhere to go. I even drove back to see if it was ok (after I pulled over and got ahold of myself laughing till my gut hurt). He was DOA. I tried it intibate him but there was no luck. He was hyperprofused and went into shock. Clear!

Back when I was working at a car place called Stillen, I ran over 2 Sparrows who were gettin' it on in the left hand turn lane. They kinda fluttered down to the ground from above and went right under my car so I couldn't avoid running them over.....poor little things.
About 2 months ago I was coming home from a Turkish club and as I was blastin' around a curve of the onramp, a wabbit hopped out in front of my car. I swerved slightly and actually didn't run him over but I heard a loud metallic BONG! so I think his little head hit my rear lower strut bar. That made me kinda sad, he almost made it but that damnable strut bar had to be there.

My friend used to aim for Possums because according to him, "They don't just get squished, they EXPLODE!"
Kinda messy if you ask me :o
