You can, but compared to all other DOHC VTEC heads, it's already ported out. Port it out much more, and it won't be streetable, nor will you able to get intake and exhaust manifolds to match.

i see... i have this huge problem, i am planning on doing a swap, and i don't want to be like every other punk on the streets claiming to be a racer so i don't really want to get all mighty b16a like everyone else. so i've been putting lot's of thought on what engine to put on my baby. i say she deserves nothing but the best but i'm guessing that i can probably build a b16 to kill a somewhat modified itr. am i correct? or am i wrong. and if i were to go all motor on the b16a what can i expected my hp jum to?

I've never seen a stock spec B16A break 185 whp, all motor. I'd increase displacement by swapping the crankshaft, boring the cylinders, or both.
