So was stage 3 the movie? How many total episodes will be in stage 4 when they are all done with them?

Everybody is saying that but it really is not. This is the sequence:

Stage 1 has 26 episodes and an extra stage with the Sil80 female racer.
http://carfreaks.b0nk.net/InitialD/

Stage 2 has 13 episodes which covers the time when his motor blew up, got a badass swap, and raced a turboed AE86:
http://a.scarywater.net/soldats/

Stage 3 is a long file called the "Battle Stage" which is just s summary of stages 1 and 2 races.... no story:
http://a.scarywater.net/soldats/

Stage 4 is called "Project D" which is when he joined a team led by Ryosuke of the Redsuns:
http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/402.html

The movie is squeezed in somewhere in the middle of developing Stage 1

So is stage 4 complete at this point? I see a lot of DVDs on Ebay with episodes 1-6, but I'm wondering if there will be more...

Stage 4 is awesome... I like how they improved the way the cars are rendered(They looked too cartoonish in the first 3 seasons)and made the characters less weird looking. I've only seen 2 episodes of it so far...I should get the rest

If you go to www.animesuki.com home page, it pretty much explains everything. It's really simple and so far have not crashed my PC after hundreds of videos. It's well worth it, IMO. The best thing about stage4 is that 4 of 6 episodes so far is all about Hondas.... CTR's to be more specific. The graphics are very detailed. Even the tach on the CTR is the same as the real deal.

I'm pretty sure the Divx website has it too...you'd just have to look harder.

Another great series is Naruto.... hands down. It's about ninja chuunins. Get it while you can. At this rate, these fansubs will get licensed soon.

Steve, were you able to get yours to work?

On another note, that Japanese band is fucking great in that Stage4 intro and exit theme. It's kind of like Japanese Evanescence... lol... That's my next surf mission, to find the sountrack of Initial D and Naruto.....

Get what to work? The codec? Sure...I just d/l'ed it and installed it. But then again I have almost every codec known to man. If you don't have the Divx media player, it might help to get it. I never use it...but my codecs all work behind Realplayer and WMP. They also work with TMPGenc.

Well...sort of. It's crawling along. Took me a while to figure out I needed to download the client. If I shut off my computer, does it save my progress on the files and let me resume?
