Down for a 5th Gen Accord meet?

Nothing is set in stone yet, just trying to get an idea as to how many people are interested. I live in Sacramento so I 'd prefer it up here, but i'm willing to drive as far as San Jose. Anybody down? If so, let's start tossing around some ideas as to where to meet, what to do and when to have it.

Yeah, San Jose would be nice for me too, I know that place like the back of my hand. But the meet isn't gonna be too far from there, in the Concord/Walnut Creek area, we've got the park down, just need to confirm a date. Most people are saying middle of July would be best, I say middle to end of June, whatcha think?

Ok so here is the Info for the HS Northern Cali Meet. It is scheduled for Saturday July 12th, 2003. The meet is going to be around 12:30-1:00. Here is the address:

Heather Farm Park
301 N. San Carlos Drive
Walnut Creek, California 94596

Here is a link to the park.
http://www.ci.walnut-creek.ca.us/parks/heatherpark.htm

The plan as of now is to meet up there, and just hang out, a bbq has been suggested along with a drive. If you plan on attending, sign up here and plan on bringing some food to contribute to the bbq so there's enough to go around. When you sign up, also list what you can bring so we make sure we have all bases covered.

And for those of you in the sacramento area, pm me so we can arrange a meeting place the day of the meet so we can roll down there together.

myself, you, maybe one or two others from this board. But there are already 10-15 people signed up from HondaSociety.com, another 5 or so from HAN, so far it's looking pretty good considering it's not until another month. Hey bro, email me w/your approximate location, i'd like to round up all the sactown area folks, meet up somewhere and caravan down together, sound good? If so, email me at rkf76@yahoo.com and I'll make the arrangements.

Richard

Aight folks, alot of the people who are signed up to go to the meet want to take a drive, one person through out the idea of heading to the San Leandro marina, not exactly what I'd call scenic. I like this drive(link will be posted at bottom). On a clear day(which it should be come the middle of July) you can see more land than anywhere else on the entire planet earth except for Mt. Kilamunjuro in South Africa. Check it out.
Scenic drive from Walnut Creek

yeah, according(no pun intended ) to the site, the view from atop the summit is second only to Mt. Kilamenjaro for the amout of land that can be seen from it

Actually, the San Leandro idea got tossed out, we're doing it in Walnut Creek, which is only like 30 miles away. You still down? No requirements other than food. Just come out, chill, get ur grub on, go on the drive to Mt. Diablo, and have fun. If you go up a couple posts, you will see the address and name of the park we're having it at, as well as a link so you can see what the park looks like a little bit. Hope to see you there.

sweet. This is the deal, us Sacramento peeps are hooking up at Starbucks here in Sacramento at 10am, we're gonna head out no later than 11. We're gonna stop in Fairfield to pick up two cars w/H22 swaps, and possibly a third car. So yeah, if you can meet us there, that'd be sweet. Here are the directions to our meeting point in Fairfield:

Take 80 west exit waterman. Go through 1 stoplight to the second light and make a left into safeway parking lot and cars will meet in the back near Strings and Blockbuster video at around 11:30-11:45

See you there
