Cougar w/ side pipes????

I should be getting a hydralic pipe bender for my b-day and was thinking about running true duals and to lessen the bending that goes on under the car(lost flow=lost hp) just to get to the back of the car is horrid. I was thinking running the pipes right in front of the Back tires(one on each side). I would use the stainless piping that came w/ the Borla and also the two tips that came w/ the cat-back system(originaly split rear). What do you think, hell no or go for it?! Sorry, this is the only picture of my car from the rear which should give you an idea of what the exhaust tips look like.
