is rubber mount for aem cai really needed?

i just bought the aem cai from someone but i dont have the rubber mount with the nut and washer.... part number 1228599. this connects to fender brace and inlet pipe support tab....is it really necessary to have this? it says that if i dont install it, it will void all warrenties....should i install it anyways if i cant get it? does anyone know where i can get this part for cheap and quick? i checked aempower.com i cant find where to buy it...it just gives me the product number? is there any place to order from that site?....does anyone have a spare that they can get me? i bought the aem cai for accord 00 4dr i4. thanks!

I dont' have a spare, but yes, you need it. There isn't too much else to support the intake.

Hmm... is the actual filter banging against something? This could happen if everything isn't tight enough.
