Dang, you guys are running monster CPUs..

For the moment AMD Duron 800 @ around 1100..

As some of you know I was supposed to upgrade this past summer, but I decided to wait since the 64bit arch is coming out soon.

Damn- why you guys need that kind of power? Yall do video editing, or the extra two seconds you save when opening winamp that important to you?
Im running:
Athlon 1ghz
384mb RAM
32mb Radeon DDR
30gb HD + 120gb external HD
works like a charm for music, videos, internet

PC that i gave to the gf:
MSI KT3 Ultra
XP1800+ @ 2000+ (retail heatsink/fan)
Abit GF4 MX440 64mb
Crucial PC2100 512mb
maxtor 40gb hdd

PC i just built for myself:
Shuttle AN35N Ultra
XP2500+ Barton 333
Crucial PC2700 512mb
eVGA GFfx 5200 Ultra 128mb
put the 40gb hdd in
Aspire SuperAlien blue case (6 blue led fans, temp lcd, 2 fan controller) w/ 500w psu (2 blue led fans and fan controller)
Super-Flower Fan Master 4 fan controller
AOpen 52x24x52 cd-rw
AOpen 16x dvd-rom
Thermaltake Silent Boost heatsink w/ fan

i coulda spent more and upgraded to 20" monitor and gone with the asus a7n8x deluxe or epox 8rda3+ but.....id rather spend my money on other things that are more important.......like new clothes.
gaining 60lbs in 6 months has diminished my wardrobe entirely......from 6 pairs of pants to 1, from 15 shirts to 6 and i need clothes for snowboarding!

^^^ How do you like that 2500+? I just got one recently and so far its humming along @ 204 x 11.5 @ 1.8V. Not too bad, but it seems like people are having mixed results.

Right Now? I'm surfing from the production Siebel server in the office. You don't want to know other than it is dual processor (3.2 Ghz Xeon) and 2 gig of RAM (and I have more RAM due in on Tuesday since it would make things run a bit better).
