has anyone ever cut their shifter and boot and put on an aftermarket shiftknob??

Eh, why cut the boot?

Anyway, you can cut the shifter, but it will shift notchy and not smooth at all. You can swap a 4g lude shifter in, but its still notchy.

Does anyone know where to find a good short throw shift kit for a 4th gen accord? I was looking for a B&M kit but I cannot find one for my 93 accord.

Yes they work. I'm selling a B&M unit for 5th gen Accords here:
http://www.hondastyle.com/forums/sho...&threadid=9637 Let me know if you're interested.

The DC and Neuspeed don't have the neutral position adjustment like the B&M does.

VERY easy to install. Maybe a 10 minute job including the time it takes to remove the console.

How about chaging the shift knob on an auto? I would like to put something in more like what the acuras' come with b/c they have a lower profile. Is that a very challenging mod?
