Fluffy Snow - Snow Plows = hit curb 2X

..seeing as this is the first actual snowfall here in kenosha, wi most of the roads are untouched and that spells disaster!

i was driving with my buddy and the first turn i make the tires loose grip and the car (i was driving my mom's sentra good thing it wasn't the civic) went forward right into a curb instead of around it! and no i wasn't driving all super fast or snapping the steering wheel hard at all, in fact i was going less than 25 mph...maybe its the sentra's 175 size tires and the snow is really fluffy and once compressed it becomes ice.... this also happened again near my friends house...:o although my buddy in the 240sx was just drivin' sideways the whole time..

just thought i'd warn you guys...

You got off light. I was driving my p.o.s Slownoma back to school from home (it's finals week) with 180lbs of sand in the back plus about what I estimate to be around 40-50lbs of snow and it STILL won't hook. In a slow bend on the highway (2 lanes...woohoo!) I started to slide out and almost crossed into oncoming traffic. Hell...even the Mustang was better in snow with ultra performance tires than this piece of shit with all weather tires. F@ck GM.

yeah he did! up until he hit a tree on his way home...the ironic part is that he wasn't drivin' crazy when he hit the tree...it wasn't major but he might just get a s15 conversion.

it wasn't my fault, the tree jumped out in front of me. I didn't hit it, it hit me.

It takes me on average probably three tries to get up my driveway. I really don't like snow. That is about the extent of my hardships in the snow through. I tend to drive like a 90 year old when the ground is any bit slippery.
