Measuring a drop

I need to know how to measure the stock suspension height and then the lowered suspension height to determine the drop.

Is it measured from the center cap to the roof line or something like that?

Just chime in here...

Thanks.

The way i always did it was......measure from the bottom of the fender to the center of the center cap.

Yea that makes sense. I was wondering if there was a more technical way of doing it...

Better yet, how have others here done it? Top of tire to fender, center of center cap to fender, center cap to roofline, etc. How many ways can it be doen and which is most accurate?
