most likely 6 1/4".....thats my guess, but its a rather popular size, and thats whats in my civic...i doubt a more luxurious car would have smaller speakers, and any bigger size is just an awkward size to be putting in the doors...

if your really curious, im sure it isnt that hard to find online, or worst comes to worse go to circuit city, they know that crap, and ofcourse theres no charge

Every automotive door speaker is either 4", 5 1/4", 6 1/2", more than likely yours are 6 1/2". Watch out for brands such as rockford fosgate and MB Quart (not that they are bad) because many of their component speakers are actually 6 3/4", which WILL NOT FIT without major modification. I have a set of MB Quart's in the doors of my integ and they took me over 4 hours to install because i had to make custom wooden brackets to house them in the doors. Also, make sure the speakers you buy are not too deep, beacuse your windows will not go down!

if its a coupe its 5 1/4" if sedan 6 1/2"

-or-

if you have 6x9's in the back you have 6 1/2" in the front
if you have round rear speakers you have 5 1/4" in the front.

>>Later>>

you shouldn't post a size if you don't know... not nagging... just sayin'.

So I'm planning on gettting a pair of 6 1/2's up front and 6x9's in the back but according to Crutchfield.com, the speakers I wanted don't fit. WTF. Are they too deep or what?

I have a 97 Civic DX and the stereo system I'm planning on can be seen at http://www.angelfire.com/sk3/theneed...x/pioneer.html
