New rim question

hello everyone...
Im buying new 17" rims for my civic. The tires will come mounted on when shipped. My question is: if I want to bolt the tire/rim onto my car, do I have to modify anything at all in order for it to drive fine? do I need an alignment or is that only with lowered cars. Thanks in advance for any help.

only thing you would possibly need is new lug nuts. one other suggestion is once you get the rims and if you have a reputible mechanic you go to have them (or someplace like Discount Tire) check the balance before putting them on I've hard of people getting rims with tires installed and balanced and the balance job is messed up (weights have come off during shipping, or just not balanced right). You wouldn't need anything else done

well maybe you should check the balancing on the wheels before you put them on. i would do an alignament too if you haven't done one in the past 6-12 months.
