How To Check CEL CODE?

ok so i baught a 1995 civic si motor is the D16Z6 Vtec, and am repairing it now, i start my car and my engine light is on, and when i rev it it wont go past 4000rpm it boggs out, so people told me to look for a 2 pin connector under dash so i found a blue one (but apparently its suppose to be a grey one in the 92-95 civics correct?) and so i did the pin (a paper clip) in the 2 pin conector and instead of my engine light giving me the code, its my SRS (airbag) light giving me a code of 11 , 1 long blink 1 short, and then lights up and stays there, and there is no such code 11, can someone help me out with this? thanks guys i appreciate it.

First thing is first. Reset the ECU. See if this CEL comes back. If it does, then proceed to start counting those blinks. Yes it shold be a blue one with 2 wires going into it.

Look into this also:
