bored and sleeved

can some body explain what exactly it is and what exactly does it do?

well bored means the the diameter of each cylinder has been expanded (made bigger) this gives you more cyliner volume which is your displacement ( ie 1.6Liters of displacement 1.8 etc.) more displacement = more power.

as far as sleeving this is when you replace the current cylinder walls with much stronger "sleeves" this allow your cylinder walls to stand up to more power
