Accord stalls

Hi when you step on the gas of my 1990 Accord it sometimes responds and other times seems like it won't accelerate inmediately (don't know the word for this behavior) this won't happen always but enough to annoy me.
What should I check first? Mileage is normal and power seems O.K but throtle response is not working always. Is like when in a carbureted engine the injector in the carb isn't working well.

What should I check? Injectors, sparkplugs, TPS, distributor etc?

well first check sprak plugs, fuel filter, fuel injection system, ignition timing, or a vacum leak. its going to be one of those.
