Well just to give you some comparison. My 96 4door auto with I/H/E and jetvforce with 200lbs of stereo stuff runs a 16.79 et. hehe so when you go to the track it might be a little different.

Thats actually areally great time hehe. I just wonder how good those things are compared to the track numbers. Because your car with only I/E is running faster than mine with a header and a jet vforce module. Thumbs up to ya

Yeah, they aren't perfectly accurate, but they ARE consistant. This allows you to try to beat your old times. Also, make sure to run on a PERFECTLY flat road, which usually isn't possible.

The only bad thing about those is that if you spin the tires it doesn't compensate for it. If i was to buy a meter i would buy the unit from Apexi. It has a g-sensor so it measure's the quarter mile time only when you are moving and it lets you put in rim size, vehicle weight, and on some cars you can gut the top speed governor off. It might be a little pricey for some people but if you shop around you can find good prices. I've found it for $185 but the g-sensor's like another $65 and then you can buy a stand for $15.
