3rd Gear Grinding?!?!

I purchased a 95 Integra LS in Mid-January and about a month and a half ago 3rd gear started grinding whenever I shifted into it. I heard it was a common problem with LS transmissions. What should I do? Buy a whole new 3rd gear from the dealership and replace the one I have, or buy a new transmission with lower milage and have that installed? I do not have a lot of money to spend on this either, if anyone has any suggestions or advice, please respond, I would appreciate it. Thanks

First try the dealer and see if there is a recall for it. If the dealers don't pan out then try some local clutch shops and see if you can't get a free check to see if it needs adjustment or really a new clutch. Worth a try before you have to spend some money.....

can u give us the scenario of when it grinds? Is it when you put the gear in or when you let the clutch out? At what rpms is this occuring?

The grinding happens when I put the gear in, and it happens OVER 4000 rpms. It does not grind when downshifting either, only when going from 2nd to 3rd over 4000.
