rust bucket

i took the seats out of my accord today to clean it up pretty good, because it looks like at the end of this week i will drive it to chicago and back. well this is what i found when the back seat was taken out

passanger side too. it looks like i need to sand it really good and fiberglass the hell out of it. what's weird is the tank looks like it has no rust on it whatsoever. another setback in restoring the car

Darin you shouldn't really have to worry seeing as you're from Florida, but us Northerners get buggered with rust alot :/

we actually have alot of salt in the air here from the ocean on both coasts. cars here dont hold up too well to 365 days a year of salt ai and do rust alot

^ thats what i was about to say, salt plus never ending rain=Rust!!! i hate florida for that, but hey at least i can keep the same set of tires and wheels on all year!!!!!

Damn man...i took my front two seats out a month ago..everything looked ok up there..but i havent checked the back seats for a while..i hope im not like that either...:o
