leather wheel cover
I just bought the honda leather cover from Hparts along with my gasket and oil rings..I put it on this afternoon and I must say its pretty DAMN sweet I'll take a pic later on and show it off.
Hand-stitched by the indigenous people of...me I gotta admit I messed up a few places cause it had to be drawn super tight and hit hurt my hand (I got gloves later into it) to where I couldnt pull it tight enough. I also have to admit that it was NOT easy (not complicated but strenuous on the hands) because of how tight it has to be held at all times. |

It nice huh? I had one on my Civic and it looked sweet. A lot better than those cheapy pep boys and autozone ones that you just slip on. Word to the wise to anyone that gets a Honda OEM leather steering wheel wrap...WEAR GLOVES! I didnt and it was a beeeotch to work on.

HondaTypeJ, do you have a pic of your car? I used to drive a black 95 GS-R, and from your avatar, our cars looked a lot alike. I miss that car like you wouldn't believe, but I'll buy another one soon enough, she was still unfinished, I wasn't done with her.

you have to stitch it with the black almost cable like thread the first time and then in a couple of weeks if not a month or so you could restitch it with a very thick red thread. The leather has to stretch...
Ill get some pics after class...promise |
