what are the differences betweeen the 2 models, other than sunroof and dual tip exuast on the ex....is ther any major diff;s like body/interior dimension or engines???i'm getting ready to sell my 90EX and buy prolly a 6th gen accord, just wondering if i would be happy with an LX. trying to debate the pros and cons of the EX vs the LX

In the 6th gens, they both have the same engines...

Go here: http://www.hondacars.com/models/acco...mpetitive.html

and select the lx and ex to compare

The difference in the 6gens are only cosmetic.
Both models have vtec rated at 150hp
EX has, in addition to the LX, leather interior, in dash CD changer, 15" alloy wheels, sunroof.
Some Ex's have side air bags and climate control.
If you plan on modding your ride go with the LX. Thats what I did.

At least for the 4cyl, both are available with cloth interior, EX has sunroof, rear disc brakes, little bit better sound insulation, anti theft on the radio, 6-disc in-dash CD changer (iirc), alloys, dual-tip exhaust. I believe all EX's now come with side-impact airbags, they are an option on the LX.

Special Edition is an LX with a sunroof and some alloys, it may have anti-theft stereo and/or in-dash 6-disc CD changer, but I'm not sure.

The V6's are a little different with the differences.

Biggest reason IMO to buy an EX is the rear disc brakes.
