hood can't close??

I was recently in a car accident were i hit the left fender of my car. A shop fixed it and everything was running fine. Just recentley my friend wanted to show me somthing and raised up the hood. After he was don't we could no close it again. We tried everything to close it but it won't shut. WHAT DO I DO???

what do you mean it doenst close?

the hood does fit in its place anymore? Like offset ..

or the it doesnt lock?

might be shifted to that opposite side. Yeah, adjusting the latch should do the trick (simple and easy). if not take it to a shop and they can adjust the alignment of the hinges and whatever...just remember to secure the hood someway!

if the problem is just simply not catching the latch, then it's a simple fix. i had the same problem before. all u have to do is bend the J hook in or out using a screw driver.
