Eagle talon? Mitsubishi eclipse? or Plymouth laser
In my mind the fastest car (besides the 300 zx) for under 5000 is the 1991-1994 mitsubishi eclipse.. I heard the eagle talon and plymouth laser are pritty much exactly the same car.. I dont really like plymouths though and dont know a lot about EAGLE... Which one do you think will be the easiest to find / easiest to mod / and best for the money? thanx in advance

Plymouth lasers, Eagle Talons, and Mitsubishi Eclipses (first and second gen) are all part of Diamond Star Motors. They were built in the same factories with the same parts. The only thing different is the badging. So they will all be equally easy/difficult to mod and around the same price. |

For 5k don't you think it'd be better to get a civic and drop a b16 in it... like a 3rd gen?

they all look exactly the same
1st gen = block/wedge of cheese (its a triangle) - includes all 3 2nd gen = looked good - Talon had that gay spoiler though and the laser didnt exist past '94 3rd gen = only 'clipse now and it was turned to shit laser only came boosted or not boosted; no awd talon came boosted, na, and awd boosted elcipse came ^ |

My friend and I put 3 engines in his VR4 Galant, then he finally sold the pice of trash. Also a guy I work with bought a 97 or so eclipse awd turbo, 150 miles later the trany literally fell out. It was very funny
