Dr Dew, you don't have any problem running that compression with a turbo kit? What kind of boost are you pushing?

The Zex kit was for b4 I was boosting. I'm gonna be using it to spray on my intercooler. Dry setups and boost don't mix. As for the compression issue, i'm waiting get my block sleeved so I can reassemble the motor. I dont know what whp I had b4 I tore the motor down, I didn't have it dyno'd. I was only running about 11lbs. I don't forsee the compression being an issue at all. I'm planning to max out my t3/t4e. We'll see what happens. I just have so much stuff going on I can't find time to finish everything. Although, I think today i'm gonna go assemble the stock C1 motor that is in my del now. I might boost that till it blows up or I get my built one reassembled, which ever one comes first. I dont know... My head hurts... La Cervesa Mas Fina.

I'm working on pics...all I've got right now are some older ones. I'd like to get some of the motor that turn out well. But you need a digital camera or scanner for that...neither of which I have and I'll be damned if I pay Kinkos $20 to have them done in a week. And who needs estimates when you've got dyno sheets? 657hp @ 6800rpm with the boost at 18lbs and tuning set to kill. When I drive around town it's more like tuning set to stun and 12lbs of boost so I'd say 525-550hp street driving. But that's the great thing about turbo'ed cars...it's 550 completely streetable hp.

That's one thing that's always made sense to me...there's no replacement for displacement. Everyone says that technology will overcome cubic inches but if you apply that same technology to more cubic inches...damn. I always remember turbos being big in the import crowd but I didn't get into them until I saw the Pro 5.0 racers setting records with them. Now I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

No 1/4 times yet...I'm having trouble finding a place that will let me race without a full cage. I've got a 4 point bar but it's not SFI certified as a roll cage and there's no way in hell I'm putting a 6 or 8 point cage in that car. One of these days I might want to have...oh, I dunno....a DATE (can you imagine some chick trying to crawl all over those bars?). With slicks and good traction I'd say it'd run a mid - low 10. But that's just bench racing.
