freezing
ok, so for the past week or so my computer has been freezin non-stop. when i hit the alt+control+delete thing there's no errors (usually) so i just hit cancel and everything works fine for the next 20 seconds or so -- its like it refreshes everything or something. then i have to keep doing the alt+control+delete // cancel thing the whole time i'm on the computer until it finally *really* freezes and i have to restart it. which happens about every 20 minutes.
what the hell is this? anyone know any ideas on how to make it stop?  |

Sounds like it could be power issues, but I'm not sure. Try installing Motherboard Monitor 5 that will monitor your voltage rails and tell you if they're too low. A more accurate way would be to take a multimeter and measure the actual power connectors.
It could also be other things though, maybe memory. Try downloading memtest86 or running Sandra memory burn in to see how that goes. Memtest86 is your best option.

 but uh -- yeah my computer is supposed to be kinda ok, but when you pop it open it's all types of messed up. has a pentium 2 in it... but on the outside n everythin it says pentium 3.  i'll do what accord told me to when i'm more awake.  and prolly reformat too even though im sick of doin that. |

i think you are dealing with some winblows registry issues. try cleaning that out. got to www.jv16.org and get the regcleaner. that does a good job on it.
