First of all - I am a long time lurker, first time poster. I HAD to respond to this one. No disrespect to the import crowd as I am not big into the whole import/domestic rivalry as it is. But I had to say something here.

97CivicFerio - In response to your earlier (and unfortunately already locked) post - My First F-Body Kill.....

I offer the following:

Looks like lunch to me. And thats from a 99% stock LS-1

No way you pull 3 cars in 2nd gear. Even if your car runs high-13's (which I find a little far fetched consdering the mods), you arent pulling him like that. You wouldnt be pulling him at all. Sorry to bust your bubble.

Sorry to the rest of you, not trolling here. Much respect to imports but this guy is a perfect example of why some players in import scene dont get the respoect they look for.

In 97CiviFerio's defence, all I can say is that there are too many factors to be considered.. For all we know, that F-body might have been badly in need of a tune up.. We just dont know...

Anywyays, that you are right or wrong, please understand that when a thread is closed, it means you should leave it alone..

Umm why do domestic cars owners come to a import forums and talk about beating our cars or try to disprove what someone says??????????????????????????????
Here's an idea goto ls1.com or rksport.com or something similiar and talk about beating imports cause i'm sure the people here really don't give a Flip how fast your car is, or how an import can't beat suchandsuch car.
