My new car

I just bought a black on black 1998 Honda Accord V6 coupe EX! I really like it so I am going to tint the windows and put 18" chrome pcw wheels on it this week.
My future plans are to do some high quality suspension including shocks, springs (maybe coilovers), front upper strut bar, upper rear "sb", and lower rear "sb". I have been looking into the Hayame Coilovers and the Tein coilovers but don't know much about either yet. Do you guys know much about either or an even better setup?
I am having a hell of a time finding headers for this car. I also am interested in a good quality deep sounding exhaust (not loud, raspy, and annoying). Something that sounds like a Cobra Mustang would be great.
Any help would be very appreciated!!

welcome to the board.

Exhuast i would go Greddy that what im getting.

tint i just bought my prelude black on black with i believe 20% all around check the pics of it out in photo exhange.

suspension i would go neuspeed strut and sway bars. Tein is a nice choice. you may also want to get a skunk2 chamber kit. i heard those are kick ass.

for of those product talk to hondaman he can hook you up. plus he is always on line post whoring around so it shouldnt be to hard to find him.

For headers look at dc sports and this is the only time ill say this but look at OBX too. Lots of 6thgen v6ers run obx headers there actually okay. As far as exhaust Id go with the greddy evolution. it has a nice deep sound youll love.

Does DC definitely make headers for my car? What are the downfalls of OBX?

won't 18" rims rubs like hell?...My friend put 18" racinghart rims on his 99 and they rubbed pretty badly, heard em down the street lol

problem with the sound a cobra mustang makes is that the sound you hear there is coming from that engine and not the exhaust as much, so good luck with that. if you don't want loud and raspy steer clear of ApexI I have yet to hear one that isn't obnoxious. I got a lesser known brand exhuast on my accord; HP Racing and it is a awesome axle-back exhaust system for about $300
(but keep in mind that mine is a '96 i4),
DC Sports for headers, and I would say tein for coilovers. Go Neuspeed for strut bars and what not, heard good things there.

18" wheels should not rub if you have the right wheel and tire combination (same overall dimensions.)

I am talking about tone and db vs. engine and cubic inches.

well some people think of obx a crappy company. but there not really that bad. As far as headers go they arent bad but their exhausts are pure crap. Plus the headers are cheaper than DC Sports.
