Head swap f22a6

My car is burning oil like crazy because of bad rings/valve seals I think. Anyways if I swap the head from another f22a6 will this most likely stop my oil burning? I've got a guy who has a head for $150 or should I just replace my rings/valve seals?

i doubt your car burns oil because the head, but i suspect the rings are worn pretty bad.

Yeah I'm pretty sure my rings are completely worn and also valve seals too! So realisticly should I fix this stuff and pay out the ass for a rebuild or just keep adding oil and save up for H22. If I rebuild though I will have internals and be spraying 100+shot of nitrous. I don't really want to abandone my F22 yet because it has only 120,000 it's still a baby!lol

Damn, my car is 5 years newer with just as many miles. That's pretty interestering that your Accord is burning oil with so few miles, they're usually good for another 50k miles. I say let the mother f'er burn and save up for the the H22. The H22 will increase the value of the car while the bottle-fed F22 will decrease the value.
It's up to you though, there's something strangly sexy about nitrous. LOL

My girlfriend drives a 92 accord lx and it doesn't burn/leak oil at all but it is completely stock and she drives like a grandma. I drave my car like a f*cking maniac and take it to redline daily! Well I would love to have an H22 but like Duckydos said Nitrous is strangly sexy!lol I'll probably go H22 because nobody wants to work on F22's. Maybe I'll just sell my car to some poor unsuspecting schmuck!

Oil Burning!

My Accord has 156,000 miles on it and is burning oil all over the place. I haven't changed any of the gaskets cause I have no time. I'm just holding out for a new car and will put an H22 later as my project car cause I love my make and model.

I think that's what screwed my rings was when my radiator kicked it, I tried to drive to the shop with a bunch of water in my radiator and it kept leaking out pulled over about 5 times to refill.

h22a

i dont know what year you have, but i have a 90 accord with the h22a in it and it was the best thing i ever did. the amount of power that thing has in incredible. your better off getting an h22a dont get an h22a1 or h22a2 make sure it says h22a which is the from japan so it has more power. along with suspension minor bolt ons and a weight lose program (jenny craig) i have the liberty of beatting some of the top sport compact cars around. spec-v, gti vr6, rsx type s, rx8, even beat a 350z once, even though i dont think the guy could drive.
