1990 Short Shifter

This suck's! does anybody have the pacesetter shortshifter for 90-93 accords. My girlfrind ordered one for me for christmas and they keep telling me the damn thing is on manufacture back order so i just cancelled it. Has anybody ever seen one in an accord to see if it's worth it and if you have one i'll buy it from you.

I just installed the neuspeed short shifter adapter yesterday on my 93 accord and it was so easy it took like 5 minutes. A shop that worked on my car tried to sell me a pacesetter shifter before and they said it would take 2 weeks to order it. Where in MO do you live? If you are in KC I know a couple of shops that could help you out just let me know.

I live in columbia. To bad the neuspeed one won't fit on the 1990. John have you seen how short the throw is on the pacesetter shifter so i can tell if it even shortens the throw at all?

AccordRacer, I think B&M makes a short shifter for your year... you might want to look into it...

yeah it sucks b&m only makes them for 94 and up. I finally put my console back on over my shifter and now when I shift into 5th and reverse the neuspeed adapter hits the right side of my console and it sucks to get into 5th and reverse has anyone else had this problem?

that sucks that it hits the console when in 5th and reverse. Maybe you didn't install it right or something not to be mean, since it only took you 5 minutes to install it i doubt it went in wrong. Maybe the adapter defective or bent wrong, it's possible. Best of luck john

I read up on this on another forum, I guess this is common and your supposed to shave a little of the right side of your console off to make it fit.
