Finally got my ignition installed... Need some ideas.

Well I finally put my ignition in. Suprisingly enough it went off without a hitch. Thank to GSRwBOOST for the mounting ideas.

My only complaint is that its loud. Why you ask? Well the 6AL itself is mounted on the passenger's side floor board. You can see it HERE . Is it supposed to make that clicking/ticking noise? I expected some noise, but this damn near makes me not want to drive. The reason its in the cabin is because the box is HUGE. There's pretty much no other choice.

Anyhow, I've come up with a couple of options.

1. Buy a different model and mount it in the engine bay. Anyone know if the MSD Sport Compact ignition is smaller?

2. Design some sort of enclosure to dampen the sound. I found that putting my coat over it helps alot. Not real sure what I'd use.

I hate to lose the Soft Touch Rev limiter. Once you hit the 8000 mark (that's the chip I have in it), you know it for sure. But I'll sacrifice it if I have to.

Anyhow, any ideas on this are appreciated.
