Oil Light Blinking!!

I have a 92 accord and my oil light is blinking. The engine has oil but it keeps blinking but only when I'm stopped. Once I accelerate, it goes off. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.

hmmm i dunno dont quote me but possible bad oil pump.....at idle it wont push out enough but when ur driving high speeds it goes off beacuse the engine is getting the right oil pressure. i dunno this happened with my 88 ford e-150 and when i would pull up to a light the oil pressure would drop....and then i'd drive and the oil pressure would go back up......just my 2cents

It's probably your oil pump, could be the oil pickup too, but that's doubtfull.

also i've heard sometimes the wires come loose and you it will cause that. i advise you to get a oil gauge switch and install it there and see the pressure. it should be like 1psi at idle and 3psi ath 3k rpms

it also could be crankshaft berings, your oil pressure could be too low to move the oil there and when you step on the gas it moves more oil
