Starting problems

well since it got cold like hel outside my car likes to run on 2 cylinders when i start it. as soon as i crank it it starts, but it runs in onnly 2 cylinders, then 2 seconds later the third one starts working and the 4th soon after that. it really annys me when it does this. i think the timing could be set too advanced. last time i checked was like 18-19 degrees, and it's 14 stock. could this be it ? also the idle is very rough, and i did all i knew to smoothen things out. Greasemonkey75 do u have any ideas ?
