spark plugs?? NGK?

okay everyone... i'm gonna be getting new plugs, and was wondering what's recommended. someone told me about NGK platinum...when i was looking at them, there's like 3 diff. platinum's hehe... i dunno, what do u guys have??

Or if your budget is even tighter, standard NGK's..

are the denso a lot better than the NGK? cause actually $55 sounds about the same as i saw the NGK for.

The guy I talked to when I bought mine said they are almost identical in performance, but for some reason, many people swear by Denso. I'd get whichever one you can get the better deal on.

For Irridiums go with Denso.

There is a dyno floating around that says the denso Irr. plugs gained 7hp and 3lbs of torque on a 5th gen prelude. Considering they are about the same price as the stock plugs I would go with the Denso plugs from GBC. I think the dyno is located at http://www.bottlefedracing.com

I would get the Densos, but they aren't even close to the price of stock plugs What "stock" plugs are you using?

5th gen Preludes have NGK platinum plugs. Last time I called around it was ~$30-$40 to replace them. Denso Irr. are $55 so it isn't that big of a difference. You probably have NGK coppers in your car..

So did I.. They cost 20$ CAD, for a 2001 lude..

I changed some a few weeks ago on my friend's car.. She doesnt like to get her nails dirty..

yup around 13$..

But you cant really convert value like that.. Some things cost around the same in its respective currency..
