i guess this is a kill

well, went out with some drifters a few nights ago, there was these serise of u-turns followed by some strait land with shallow curves, then some more tight turns. we were bascialy all spaced 10 seconds apart, it was 95 240 thena 95 240se, then a 93 240, then me(94 vtec prelude) i managed to catch up and pass the 93 and the SE in 2 laps they could get me on the u-turns cause, well, they knew how to drift and i had to go around it at about 20mph, but the straits and non-drifting turns were mine one lap was about 2 mins, and it was a 4 lane split road and 3am, we never saw another car the whole time and we never really got above 60mph, and i never "evil kanivaled" past them when i knew there was a drift turn or something coming up.

Sounds like fun. Looks like you guys have a 'thing' for 93-95 cars.
Nice kill.

sounds like fun to me. you should have set the rear shocks to the stiffest setting and let the front ones a bit smaller and the u-turns will be a lot more fun. tha.t how i do it

haha... we're college students. doing road circuts(i guess thats what it would be called) was so much more fun than drag racing. it really puts the ability on the driver, not the car, this one was a little partial to a fast car, cause there was a decently long stretch of strait, but i finaly get to see what my sturt bars, coilovers and shocks were designed for. i could go do things like that solo and have more fun than seeing what kid i can beat at every stop light

i'll give that a try also i see how the sloted rotors help with cooling now. brake fade sucks.

DUDE WELL PUT!, my old 88 gt had sick suspension on it before the rear locked up but you are right straight line is one thing but when you actually race around turns and hills and stuff it makes the racing adrenaline rush complete and keeps you on your toes, me NOW i got skinnies on the front because other tires rub around turns, but when i had my black gt what i didnt do STRAIGHT line id make up for in corners, NOw i hate it when me and my freinds are ****ing around racing from place to place and i get a bone stock nissan altima AUTO FREAKING MATIC to get close enough to me to reach out and hit my bumper, but hey its a ford with NO POSI, SKINNIES, AND NO REAR BRAKES (DONT ASK... THERE VICE GRIPPED BECAUSE THEY LEAKED).
i miss my old car even though it was hella slower...
