Update with my Ride!!

Hey peoples, How are we all doing????
Sorry I wasn't able to come here much but alot of stuff has happened.

1st Some stupid idiot crashed into my car while it was parked in front of my parent's house. The front left side of the car is thrashed. The car was pushed back 5 feet and my front right tire ended up on the lawn. That PUnK!!. I hoped that fool, who ever that hit my poor car died. My car is at the Body shop getting some face lift.
I am getting a new carbon fiber Hood for some added visual enhancement.

2nd. My goal of the JG block has come to a stop. I quit my job about a month ago and my financial situation is not looking good.
So this is what im gonna do as soon as i get my car back from the plastic surgeons.

Parts ordered.....

1. Greddy 2mm Head Gasket
2. Act stage 3 Clutch
3. Fluedyne Radiotor with Fan

I was quoted $1700 with these parts plus labor. U think this is a decent price??? i need your opinions. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your car clown dog.. Atleast your getting the CF hood and stuff, thatll look sik..

As for the parts, how much are they going to charge you for labor? Seems alittle on the high side to me. But I may not be for your area.

Hope everything works out for you ok. Keep us posted. Its good to see you here again..

SUp Racing Rice. Damn! 2155 posts. haha I guess i been out for a long time......

But yeah these are the prices....

Fluedyne radiator: $290
Electric Fan with mounts: $160
ACT Stage 3 Clutch: $280
Greddy Head Gasket: $165
Plus valve cover gasket and other miscellaneous parts
Machining the fly wheel and remachinging the head

so i gueess the labor is around $800.

I would install it myself but taking off that tranny in my garage is just too much work and i don't have time since school is starting soon.
U think its high?????

Sorry to hear about your car clowny, but its good to see you're making it even better.

I'm not sure on all of your prices, but that is a damn good price on the clutch. I just got the ACT HA3-HDSS for around $320 and that was the best deal I could find.

Sup 94_AcCoRd_EX!!!. Thanks for your supports fellas. Im picking up my Hood tomorrow and I have to drop it off at the body shop. I'll probably get it back next week. Then imma put the stuff in. But $1700 is alot of money and it won't even make me go any faster. DAMN!!

Up to this point, are you still riding on your stock clutch? If so, that ACT stage 3 might make you a little faster at least.

The parts seem pretty decent price wise, but almost a $1000 for labor.. Thats rough. Though I know its not a small job, just sucks thats all. You should be rippen up the streets when you get it back!!

That seems steep, but I just got a clutch installed/flywheel resurfaced from Honda yesterday and it came out to $390 labor . They were the only place around that would do it, so I didn't have a choice. If he's getting everything done for $800, that doesn't seem unreal, though it may be a little steep.

Sounds like an awesome setup. What do you hope to run after everything's installed?

Well only thing that will help me in the performance wise will be the clutch and the intercooler. However, since the intercooler is the biggest one Greddy offers i think the pressure drop will be high. Im currently boosting 7 lbs right now. I think the it will drop to maybe 4-5 after i get the intercooler in. I am not going be to boosting more cuz i can't afford the EVC right now. I also need to upgrade my ignition, fuel pump, Fuel pressure regulator, and some kind of FMU. So yeah im hoping that i will be running in the mid 14's after these upgrade.....
