another noobie question: about decals

i want to put white decals on my red 98 civic. i know nothing about them. will they come off in the car wash? will the white stain?

If you get the right decals they most likely won't come off in a car wash...just don't hold the wand up to them like an inch away...as for the stain..no...not that I know of...your paint will fade...but underneath the decals won't...so it might look a little weird when taking them off....that is if you leave them on for a few years...the glue might be a problem to get off...but just use a heat gun.

just use a blowdryer in the middle of a crowded neighborhood. the looks you get are great!

If you get good quality vinyl then they should last a good long time on your ride. But choose the vinyl wisely..Don;t just slap the vinyl all over the ride and rice it up...

when you go to apply the vinyl just wet the area w/ soapy water and then apply the vinyl..use a credit card or ID to then work out he bubbles and excess soapy water from under it...Let it sit about 3-5 mins then remove the top cover layer of the vinyl...

Hope that might help a ltitle more...

If it washes off in the car wash, then you got some cheap decals. Also, it shouldn't stain your paint.
