No....

The sedan exhaust is about 15 inches longer... whatever the length of the cat is...

I got a magnaflow cat back that was for either a coupe or a sedan and they include what a coupe could use as a test pipe that makes the exhaust longer for a sedan...

The bends are all the same though so you could buy it and just get an extension piece either welded on or just buy a test pipe and use that.

as a matter of fact they will. thermal lists the same part number for some of their civics:

92-98 CIVIC: 4 DR. all mdls exc 96-98 LX B101-C101

93-98 CIVIC 2 DR. all mdls exc. 96-98 DX/LX B101-C101

i guess it all depends on the trim level thou

As I said... the magnaflow cat back is THE SAME PART NUMBER for both...

HOWEVER... it comes with an extra piece to make it fit the 4 door...

If he's asking if a 2door exhaust (as in ONLY the pieces used for a 2 door) fit a 4 door then the answer is no... It'll be a little short.

If he's asking if they're the same part numbers then sure they are... depending on the company making them.

IE if he's buying a used exhaust that is on someone elses 2 door right now... it will not fit the 4 door... without an extension piece.

Is it about as long as a cat? 17" or so?

yeah it's exactly the same size as a cat... you can use it as a test pipe if you have a 2 door instead of 4 door.

this 60sec. time limit is dumb...

it's nothing major..if you are getting a good deal on the exhaust then the littel bit spent on the "test pipe" will be nothing...good luck
