What if Honda made a truck?

Hondas are good vehicles but should it be limited to passenger cars and SUVs? I live in the south and I've seen some nice trucks. There's something about a truck that you just can't overlook. A friend of mine just got a 02 Chevy silverado Crew cab and he's got some mud tires, bushguards, tool box, and FLowmaster mufflers. A modified Honda does look nice but it doesn't have the intimidating looks a truck might have. If Honda came out with a truck would anyone buy it?

well, honda dosnt produce engines that would power a truck well. tyota and nissan produce nice v6's that could power a truck, and they make RWD vehicals, if i was going to get a truck a TRD tacoma looks nice, or a tacoma with a 2jz in it. and i herd SR20det's fit in frontieers. it depends on what i want the truck for. dodge dakota 5.9 r/t's are real nice too.

I'm sure if the truck was quality stuff people would buy it....but if it sucked...no...you can't just ask would you buy something if they made it...even if you don't know what it looks like yet or how it drives.
I personally don't like the way trucks drive...the handling sucks, and the ride is terrble.

INTRODUCING THE NEW HONDA TRUCK: THE AIRLINE ATTENDANT!!!

All new for 2003 is the new HONDA AIRLINE ATTENDANT. The AIRLINE ATTENDANT is Honda's first attempt in the massive American truck market. It features a clean burning 1.8L V8 that features the ever popular VTEC system, producing 110 ft/lb of torque at 3000 RPM and 300 HP at 13000 RPM's. Towing capacity is rated at 500 lbs, but can be upgraded with the towing package to 1000 lbs. There's plenty of cargo space in the rear, we were able to fit a 4'X8' plyboard cut in half in the back. The massive 14" wheels sport firestone 165/70/14's for plenty of grip on those off road trips. Available in either white, black, or silver with only grey availble in the interior. The all new AIRLINE ATTENDANT by Honda, because we're not just stewardess's any more!

honda wont make trucks because they can't out-put good power at low revs. They're from motorcycle industry of small yet powerful high reving engines.

I'm sure they could make it, but its like asking Ford to make a decent car. Its just not going to happen guys.

i think it could happen since Honda received v8 engines in trade for a bunch of i4 and v6 engines to GM....
