After shifter install question???

Is it alright that the shift arm under the car rubs the heat sheild of the exhaust pipe just a little bit, doesnt seem to be any problem i just wanted to make sure!

yes that is true. You can take your car to a exhaust place and they will fix it and it is normaly cheap

or you can do it yourself...just bend the shield enough, or cut the shield off (removing it will not hurt you or the car)
