@ groupbuycenter or anywhere else, a manufacturer or retailed signs up to sell their product. Sometimes they just use GBC to sell their products at good prices, and don't require a certain number of people to join. Other times, they will have a price list based on how many people join... ($50 if 10 people are in, $45 if 20 are in, etc.) This lets them get bulk discounts and pass the savings on to you. You have to inquire because sometimes they will ship right away, or other times they will wait until the buy is over.

ok so if I want a aem cai, I have to inquire in that group right? If theres a lot of people, then itll be cheap, but if theres little people, it cost alot?

The pricing depends on how the vendor is running it. Just check the page. Many times they AEM CAI will just have a set price on the page. You contact the vendor, arrange the sale, and that's it.

Best price I've seen on a CAI is through No Limit, they advertise quite a bit on GBC. It should go for something like $189 shipped. They will ship immediately using overnight, there is no wait until the GB ends.

Anyhow, usually they specify when you can order directly or need to wait for the GB to end. You can always email the folks running it to ask them, from what I've seen they tend to be good about that kind of stuff.
