Disassembling D16Y8

Hi Guys. I'm just starting my first build of a Y8 head. I'm learning as I go.

Im disassembling the head I have here now. So far I've only pulled the plugs, removed the VTEC solenoid, and some other misc things. I'm ready to start removing the valvetrain.

It looks like the first thing to take off is the top rail that holds the rocker assembly. It has 10 bolts .. should I just remove that first? Do I need to loosen anything else before I do that? Or should I go ahead and just start unscrewing stuff. Any tips are helpful .. especially if anyone has some links to some sort of a disassembly procedure. Thanks.

for real...you should get a helms manual...or if you really cant wait get a cheap-o manual from the local bookstore like Haynes (crap) or Chiltons (even crappier).
But it should have some of the info that you need to do this right...including pics...building should can be a learning process...but you should have something to go back to for reference...just in case you get lost...

good luck and keep us informed of the project
