Got Screwed on EBAY D16Z6 Cam

I bought a cylinder head for a D16Z6 fom ebay. The guy stated that it had a Stage 2 Skunk2 cam, crower springs and retainers, port & polish when I contacted Skunk2 racing they told me that they did not make a stage 2 cam for my application. I found this out after I bought the cylinder head. Now I took apart that cylinder head and found B101 engraved on the distributor side of the cam. Who makes this cam? Or how can I go about finding who makes it by this code? Please guys I really need your help.

damn.

i have no idea who makes a cam that has B101 engraved on it, you should take it to some shop that does head work and see if they can figure out the specs on it(lift, duration, overlap) and then compare them with other cams on the market to see what you got.

So nobody knows what code this is or how I can find out? I was thinking of buying a micrometer and meassuring the cam lobes. But I really do not know how to meassure this, to find out lift and duration. Does anyone here know?

Generally it's a specific guage that mounts to the head, which you zero on the round part of the cam, then you rotate the cam and see what it's maximum lift is... (the lobe is now pointing up towards you). The duration is just how many degrees the lift even lasts... generally I think it's measured from the first even of lift to the last. But I seem to remember something about it being measured only after a certain amount of lift has occured... like .05 or something... but I could be totally wrong on that...

Search google for "measuring lift/duration" or something along those lines...

Never mind...

Here's a link that has the tool (dial indicator)...

Yeah I think its at .050 of an inch that you get the total lift. But do you know what are the specs on the stock civic vtec camshaft?
