What engine should I bring back?

I'm going to Japan for the next three years and I'm going to buy a car there for a daily driver but I can't bring the car back w/ out paying a crap load for shipping, but the Air Force will ship my household goods for free. So I'm thinking that right before I leave Japan I'll take the engine/tranny and any other parts I'll need out of the car and let them ship that. But what I need to know is what engine would be best for my 94 civic ex? I know the integra engines are the easiest swap but which one is best. Also how much would the labor cost to put in a Prelude engine? And can I keep AC and powersteering with it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah you can keep your PS & AC with the H22's. But I would get a B18C5. Mmmmm....Type-R.....

You might as well bring one back for me while you're at it.

Either a Civic Type R [B16B] or Integra Type R [B18C5] if your wanting to stay NA. If your thinking about FI, Id go with an SI [B16A2] or GSR [B18C] motor.

I'm thinking I'll go with the B18C5, but is it a good idea to use this engine if I want to use a supercharger? And what year would be most compatible with my car, as far as wiring and stuff? Thanks for all your help

any b series engine is good for FI. it depends on how much you want to boost it. 6psi is safe but if you want to go up to 20 psi, proper engine build up must be done. since you're going to japan, have the engine blueprinted and balanced. those techs in japan are very good in doing these things.

daym! i had a chance to get stationed in japan too but i turned it down. timing was bad, but i'll go there next time. u should get a genuine B16B (civic typeR) engine. this engine is the hardest one to come by here in USDM land.......
