how are you supposed to get this thing off?

how exactly do you get off the "H" emblem off the trunk so I can put a red one instead of chrome?? Does it come with the adhesive it needs to stick?

I dont know about the newer ones...but...Mine was stuck on with some adhesive on the middle line of the H. AND there are 2 pins that have plastic clips on them on the back.
I used a standard screwdriver w/ a cloth around it and just popped it off...then goo gone, and a good wash before I stuck the new one on

i just recently shaved my badges of my car (civic and ex) and here's a small version of the write up i'm gonna make in the future:

1.get goo gone, floss, rag, hair dryer, scraper
2.heat the badge with the hair dryer and have somebody floss between the trunk and the badge...
3.keep "flossin'" until its of and i'm pretty sure there will be a thick layer of adhesive..
4.squirt some goo gone on the adhesive and use the scraper with a rag over it to remove most of the adhesive
5.once there a small amounts of adhesive, squirt more goo gone and rub with the rag..
6.wash away and wax the area!

thats a good question if the badges on a 01 are held on by more than adhesive because if the h is only being held on by adhesive im removing it!! how do i find out what holds it on before i do it?
