air bags are nothing to mess with
I would definately call the dealership and tell them what happened. They would be able to tell you any advice that you could use or they could dianose the problem.

Id say its probably nothing...but Id hate to have them explode for no reason while youre driving or have them not deploy when you needed them...

Was it the "side airbag" light or the SRS light? If a yellow "side airbag" light comes on, that means something is blocking the view of the side airbag and it won't work. If it was the SRS light, as long as it didnt stay on you are ok.

hmm i used to have an SRS light, until i took both my airbags out... freaking thigns are like 1000 a piece under insurance repair... knock on wood.

i don't think its much off a problem, if it was then your CEL would be on as well as the SRS light continuously... i think that light is supposed to come on when you start your car, but its been so long i dont remember anymore. if it does it again, then get it checked out.

If it was me, I would definetly get it checked out. Air bags save lives. I know this from first hand expierence. Why take the chance of it not working when you may need it. Best bet is to take it to the dealership.

My srs light came on in my 02 si and i took it to the dealer like 2 weeks ago and he said bring it back in 2 days he will call when the parts is in. Well 2 days rolled around nothing. 2 weeks has come around and still nothing. The light itself comes on like its supposed to when i start the car but then it goes off.

the geekz0r (11:03:46 PM): basicly, look at it this way...the 6speed is the same is the 5speed in 2,3,4,5,and 6...only the speeds are different because of the fd
the geekz0r (11:04:16 PM): so 2nd pulls like 1st in the 5speed, 3rd is like 2nd, etc.
PortugeeTex (11:04:26 PM): so whats 1st like then?
the geekz0r (11:04:49 PM): 1st is like hitting a cheeta in the ass with a tazer
PortugeeTex (11:04:53 PM): lmfao
