Shocks n Springs Q. Help.

hi. im a noob at this car mod stuff so i need some help.
is there such thing as the shocks are too tall? im trying to lower my car and bought ractive coil over springs and installed them, went down like 2 and a half in. then test drove it, but it felt like my car had no springs nor shocks. my car was jumping up n down on the smallest road bumps. so now im planning to buy yellow konis. are them konis low enouhg to work? im just confused because people told me my stock shocks will work when i lower it.

well konis are as long as the regular shocks on the outside and their rod is a bit shorter than regular shocks. the bounciness is because of the really stiff spring rate of the coilovers and the stock shock's aren't able to take it. depending on your car i can get you some koni yellows for 570 shipped tops. let me know

something other than cheap coilovers, like H&R's.

I agree on the h&r's...those coilovers you have are junk (all ractive products are...even the bulbs)

dont order from modacar. they take forever to ship and they will most likely rape you on the shipping...you might pay as much as $30 for shipping and it will still take over a month and a half...I loath that store now...
